  Got makeup for my birthday and wanted to return because my friend who bought it didn't really know how to buy makeup. So on the day of, I wanted to make an exchange and a return and I also had a receipt for the process (the receipt showed the items were bought earlier that week) . Policy says cosmetics can be returned New or gently used. Didn't even use the product nor open the product but the sales lady insisted that it was used just because lines were gone (you can literally see lines still but she keep insisting there isn't any lines). I even asked her to compare it to a new unopened box but apparently they sold out of the one I had. Had to call the manager to talk to just get my money back. The manager left a very rude comment, "just next time don't open the product if you want to return it." When the policy literally states "cosmetics can be returned at any time after purchase in new or gently used condition." He only had let me get my cash back just because "I don't know much about makeup." Well if you don't know much about makeup, at least review your returns policy better and educate your employers. Pretty upset that I had to deal with such unprofessionalism on my birthday.
